We worked with Prodrive’s engineering leadership to explore how AI - particularly agentic tools and large language models - could future-proof their workflows and unlock the next wave of performance.

The engagement began with a live AI inspiration session to spark ideas and shift mindset. From there, we moved into discovery and planning: designing the concept of an Intelligent Engineering Brain - a system to centralise years of institutional knowledge and layer in smart assistants for design, testing, and decision-making.

We also supported the creation of an internal AI Council to lead adoption, and a dedicated Horizons Team to monitor emerging capabilities and keep Prodrive ahead of the curve.

We ran a focused AI discovery session with HPower to surface and prioritise high-impact automation opportunities across departments.

The result: a multi-pronged delivery plan spanning operations, marketing, and product teams - each with targeted AI initiatives and clear ownership paths:

Marketing: Smart automation solutions using off-the-shelf platforms, paired with custom-built assistants to streamline campaign workflows.

Finance & Ops: A bespoke model to ingest purchase orders and quotes, compare them, and update budgets and schedules automatically.

Engineering & Design: A combined CAD + AI toolchain to accelerate the conversion of design files into production-ready renders.

Stepladder’s marketing teams spent hours manually processing incoming client briefs (often via email or forms), extracting key requirements, and drafting corresponding proposals - a time-intensive setup prone to delays and inconsistencies.

What we did

Built a custom automation pipeline that ingests client briefs, whether PDF, form, or shared doc.

Designed a system using off‑the‑shelf tools enriched with tailored logic to parse and categorize core brief elements: goals, deadlines, budgets, stakeholders.

Integrated an AI assistant layer to auto-generate draft proposals based on parsed input, pre-populated templates, and existing client knowledge.
